What is Polished Concrete?
To get the polished concrete look you have to get to the actual base slab of concrete. Any hardwood, tile, or other kind of floor must be removed as well as its residual adherents such as glue or thinset. Once this has been achieved the floor must be ground with subsequently higher steps until you reach 800 Grit. The final step is to apply a thin layer of Guard to the floor to chemically protect the floor from stains.

How Long Does it Take to Install?
Each floor is different and the time it will take to install a given floor will differ slightly from project to project -- especially for polished concrete. The hardness of the concrete, the state of the job site, and client expectations will dictate the speed at which a project can be completed. ​​
